Exit Interviews: Tell Us How You Really Feel!

Print Article

June is often a time of transitions around Lehigh, and that includes employment.

Whenever an employee retires or leaves Lehigh for a position elsewhere, Human Resources (HR) asks that employee to complete an exit interview. HR also encourages staff members transferring positions within the university to participate in the exit interview process.

Exit interviews are a method of gathering information from employees to help identify areas for improvement in any institution. Employees or former employees who share their honest feedback with HR help make Lehigh a better place to work for everyone.

If you are making a change in your work status at Lehigh, please answer the call to complete an exit interview. You’ll be invited to fill out a survey and also to sit down with an HR professional for a discussion. Your opinions and suggestions can make a real difference.

If you’d like to be prepared for the kinds of questions that are asked during the exit interview, you can preview the written portion on the HR website:

Next month, Spotlight will publish its annual HR By The Numbers featuring exit interview statistics from the previous 12 months.
