Quick Takes: Three Things You Should Know About This Month

Print Article

1.    Administrative Staff Reference Manual Re-Launched

After months of work, a committee of Lehigh staff has refreshed the Administrative Staff Reference Manual website.  This valuable tool will help administrative staff (and others) find the information they need quickly and easily.

The website contains information and links related to topics such as accounting, communications, employment, events planning, human resources, training and much more. While it’s not all-inclusive, the site is a one-stop shop for almost everything an administrative staff might need on a day-to-day basis.

The members of the committee are:

Amy Grim, Dean of Students Office
Cindy Moser, Office of VP & Provost for Research and Graduate Studies
Debra Rubart, Academic Outreach
Anne Noon-Scaggs, Office of Community and Regional Affairs and State Relations

Visit the new Administrative Staff Reference Manual website.

2.    Spring Semester Tuition Bills

If you have a child receiving the Tuition Cash Grant benefit, remember that the funds can’t be released to his or her school until HR receives a copy of the tuition bill. Be sure to share your child’s spring semester tuition bill with Alice Sikorski or Betty Konczyk as soon as possible to ensure timely payment.

If you have any questions about tuition benefits, you can consult the HR website, or contact Alice (extension 82789) or Betty (extension 82952).

3.    Career Coaching For Managers To Be Re-scheduled

There was a lot of enthusiasm and strong registration for the two-day Career Coaching For Managers workshop scheduled for October 30-31. Unfortunately, we had to postpone the program due to the power outage resulting from Hurricane Sandy.

The dates for the new session, most likely in March, are being finalized. When the new dates are released, everyone registered for the October session will automatically be registered for the new dates. New registrations from supervisors will also be welcome.
