Quick Takes: Three Things Worth Knowing

Print Article

1.    What’s Your DavisVision ID Number?

Every Lehigh employee who is enrolled in any of the university’s medical plan also is enrolled in the DavisVision program. Members receive a variety of vision care services and products through this benefit.

When you visit your eye doctor, you'll need to give them your DavisVision ID number. So, do you know your number? It’s a question we’ve been hearing a lot lately. Your DavisVision ID number is your Lehigh Identification Number (LIN).

If you haven’t memorized your LIN or recorded it someplace secure, you can always access this important number via your Banner account on the Campus Portal.

2.    Chaplain’s Office and Dialogue Center Sponsoring Spirituality Discussion Groups

Spirituality discussion groups are voluntary opportunities for staff and faculty to explore spiritual and religious perspectives in a small group setting. Participants take turns facilitating the conversations and topics are chosen by members of the group.

Visit the Chaplain’s website, or contact Rabbi Seth Goren, Associate Chaplain and Director of Jewish Student Life, at seth.goren@lehigh.edu, if you would like to learn more.

3.    There’s D? Thursdays at Noon in University Center (UC) 303

Every Thursday at noon, there is an open forum to discuss issues of diversity and inclusion here at Lehigh.  Faculty, staff and students are all encouraged to attend.
The organizers of the forum state: “Bring your praises, critiques, and everything in between. This is a space for open and honest conversation and reflection surrounding our campus.”
