Monday Miles

Have you noticed folks gathering by the flagpole on Mondays around lunchtime? They’re the Monday Milers, and you’re invited to participate.

Monday Miles is a joint program of Lehigh’s Health and Wellness Center and the HR Wellness program. It’s a casual way to add some exercise and friendship to your week. Simply show up at the flag pole on Mondays at 12:10pm, and join the group as they follow a 1.2 mile loop around campus that takes approximately 20 minutes.

If you register via the HR Training page, you’ll also receive a free gift and a walking map. The campus is especially beautiful in the fall. So, join up, and we’ll see you at the flagpole next Monday!

Blue Jean Bash

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and for the 15th year in a row, Lehigh HR is participating by offering employees a fun way to contribute to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

In return for a $5 donation, employees may wear jeans to work on Friday October 28 to show their support for the fight against breast cancer. Contributions benefit breast cancer prevention services, groundbreaking treatments and early detection research.

To register, download the registration form and return it with your $5 contribution to Human Resources no later than Friday, October 21.
